Diplomats and Volunteers Discuss Being Mortal

On January 29, ten volunteers and diplomats from South Korea and Slovenia met at the home of Mimi Kolesar to discuss Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. A lively discussion ensued. Thanks to Mimi for her warm hospitality. Our next book is Antiquities by Cynthia Ozick which will be discussed on February 23. There is never an obligation to attend or read the book. We are also available to answer any questions and arrange transportation.  If you would like to attend the meeting and/or be added to our membership list, please contact one of the chairs.
Upcoming books include the following:

23-Feb  Antiquities, by Cynthia Ozick
29-Mar  The River of Doubt, by Candice Millard
26-Apr  The Paper Palace, by Miranda Cowley Heller
31-May  Pot Luck Luncheon and Book Selection
